14 Nov Coincidence Hub And Hostel – Bangkok
I stayed in Coincidence Hub and Hostel for 2 nights. It was rated in Booking and Agoda over 8, so I booked it.
The only good thing from this hostel is the situation, at least for me.
The pictures you see when you make the reservation online are probably from the hostel brand new. And once you get there, you don’t find it like in the pictures.
It is not well conserved, someplace the floor is broken the toilet and shower doors are disgusting, they are made of wood, but nobody is taking care of this wood that gets wet constantly.
It is NOT clean. I was there one morning during cleaning time and they just swept in the morning and they use the shower handel to clean the bathroom just with the water. One of the rules in the house is to be barefoot in all the places, but it was impossible not to wear flip-flops on the bathrooms-showers. Cleanliness is a must whatever the price is.
The ladies on the front desk seem nice, but they don’t speak more than a few words in english, so there is no option in asking for directions or recommendations. One of them, doesn’t know about anything around the hostel, she kept saying one and again that she wasn’t from that area of Bangkok. Well let me tell you, as I worked in a front desk, that the first thing you should now is where the places your gust will ask for are. In this case I asked for a supermarket, she had no clue. Then I asked if it was far a way to vet to Wat Phra Kaew, she didn’t know, so at the end I was all the time checking internet, as they didn’t even offer for that.
The second day it was not even 10am that they entered de room without permission and switch on they light and start to get ready 2 beds for new people coming. We were 8 people sharing the room and 6 of us were inside, they didn’t care about it. If the check in is at 14h and some of us are still sleeping, no need to disturb the guests.
I won’t recommend this place al all, there are a lot of places in Bangkok to try for the same price before going tp this one.
